Interizon Foundation organized its first satellite event on the occasion of the 5th edition of the Venture Day conference.
Venture Day is an initiative at national level that aims to create a unique space for exchanging information, experiences, and networking between representatives of venture capital funds, R&D practitioners, researchers, start-ups and entrepreneurs looking for innovative solutions.
Venture Day, held in Gdańsk at the Gdańsk Energa Stadium, on 15-16 November 2017, focused on two thematic sectors:
- eHealth, organized by Interizon and,
- Marine and Logistics, organized by Entrepreneurship Incubator STARTER in Gdańsk as a co-organizer of the Venture Day conference.
Such a structure gives INNOLABS the opportunity to address a key audience composed of entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, makers, start-uppers as well as policy makers and regional players in the field of innovation and health.
The eHealth stream goals within the framework of the Venture Day conference were:
Present the European project INNOLABS to SMEs and the scientific community of the region and the different opportunities for participation in INNOLABS, engage SMEs to take part in INNOLABS events, provide support and relevant information regarding the eHealth sector and global trends in the e-health industry.
Organize speed-dating meetings for SMEs/startups with experts, venture capitals, investors, etc.
Present the INNOLABS Baseline Report within WP4: “Supporting SMEs to accelerate and succeed in the market".
Organize debate with representatives of Pomeranian hospitals and corporations, preceded by an SMEs pitching session.
