INNOLABS Workshop about Funding Opportunities for SMEs

INNOLABS Consortium partner EUROB CREATIVE, together with AMETIC and CDTI, organized a workshop about funding opportunities for SMEs and Startups on the 24th of May, at one of the Business Incubators belonging to Madrid City Council.

During the workshop, participants could learn more about tax deductions for innovative healthcare project with José Tomás Romero, from the Spanish Association of Electronics, ICT, Telecommunications and Digital Content Companies (AMETIC).

After that, attendees could obtain information about public funding opportunities for SMEs, such as Horizon 2020 SME Instrument, with a session conducted by Luis Guerra from the Centre for Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI).

To finish the morning session, Roberto Giménez from EUROB CREATIVE, introduced participants to INNOLABS project, that will launch its 1st Open Call in June and award the best 25 projects with support worth up to 50,000€ and the 25 finalists with support worth up to 10,000€!

After a brunch where people had the opportunity to do networking, there were two sessions for one-on-one consultations about project proposals writing for INNOLABS and for H2020 SME Instrument funding opportunities. In addition, there was a parallel one-on-one service session about Design Thinking & Idea Building with José Manuel Castellano from Think Creative.

To conclude, attendees were satisfied with the sessions and motivated to improve their proposals to apply for the upcoming INNOLABS Open Call and H2020 SME Instrument.
